shortMAN

shortMAN, 2005 Urban Music Award Nominee, has performed across the UK, The Gambia [West Africa], Berlin, Stockholm, Milan, Canada and completed a 7 day tour of Manhattan and Harlem. shortMAN has recorded material for TY (Big Dada Records), Dennis Rollins (Raestar Ventures) and has also recorded for BBC Radio 4, BBC Blast and has been interviewed alongside International Poet Linton Kwesi Johnson for the worldwide radio show The Selector. shortMAN has had his work documented within The Voice, The Observer, The South London Press, The Times, The New Nation, Next Generation Magazine and Undercover Magazine including many online magazines.

After a string of performances and the release of his self published material including hooded tops, t-shirts, books and cd's shortMAN began to get many award nominations and won awards for the Aroma Poetry Slam title 2002, Farrago Zoo Award for Best Farrago Debut Performance of 2002 and The Hammer&Tongue Slam Champion of Black History Month 2004. shortMAN was also nominated for the Carlton Multicultural Achievement Award 2003, contributed toward the BBC Radio 4 Bespoken Word Sony Award Nomination 2004 and was nominated by the Urban Music Awards for the ‘Most Inspirational Act 2005’.

Oneness

OneNess is an actress, performance poet, writer director and producer. She has been performing since the age of 8 years. With her unique captivating talents she has delved into stage, television and film.

OneNess has been creatively documenting her experiences (or insperiences as she likes to refer to them) from a very early age and in 1999 she decided to combine her performance skills with her writing, blurring the distinction between truth and art; and between education and entertainment.
